2023 PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCES
2023 Professional Conference
In 2023 BIAKS-GKC will present two conferences for healthcare professionals who work with people following a brain injury. Topics cover current trends, research and therapy techniques, as well as personal stories from individuals with brain injuries. Participants can earn up to 13 hours of Continuing Education Credit (CEU). A two-day conference will be held in Overland Park at the KU Edwards Center on April 24-25. to Register, click here

The first Memorial Day run was held in 1988 in honor of Amy Thompson, an incredible young woman whose will to live gave hope to all those affected by TBI.

2023 Advocacy Day in Topeka- March 14
Each spring BIAKS-GKC sponsors a day on the hill in Topeka to educate state legislators about brain injury and potential legislative initiatives that will help improve the lives of those affected by this injury.
