In 2021 and 2022 BIAKS-GKC will present a series of conferences for healthcare professionals who work with people following a brain injury. Topics cover current trends, research and therapy techniques, as well as personal stories from individuals with brain injuries. Participants can earn up to 13 hours of Continuing Education Credit (CEU)

The 2021 Family & Survivor Seminar will be held in Overland Park on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 9 am to 2 pm at Menorah Medical Center, 5721 W 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66209.
GOING THE DISTANCE FOR BRAIN INJURY

The first Memorial Day run was held in 1988 in honor of Amy Thompson, an incredible young woman whose will to live gave hope to all those affected by TBI.

Each spring BIAKS-GKC sponsors a day on the hill in Topeka to educate state legislators about brain injury and potential legislative initiatives that will help improve the lives of those affected by this injury.
