Did you know every 9 seconds someone in the United States sustains a brain injury? At least 5.3 million live with a TBI-related disability. That’s one in every 60 people. A brain injury can happen anytime, anywhere, to anyone.
We’re very pleased to have been part of Brain Injury Association of America’s awareness campaign, More Than My Brain Injury. The More Than My Brain Injury campaign aims to de-stigmatize the injury, highlight the diversity of the brain injury community, and empower those who have survived. The More Than My Brain Injury campaign includes shareable graphics for social media.

Many thanks to Kansas Governor Laura Kelly and Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog for recognizing March as Brain Injury Awareness Month. View their proclamations here and here.
