David’s Story

In January 2013, I incurred a traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a pedestrian in downtown Kansas City, Missouri when a colleague and I were struck by a car.

In connection with the Unmasking Brain Injury project, my Mask shows progress in my ongoing recovery on an ongoing and daily basis. My Mask shows God’s LOVE for each day – to forget the past and to let the future come the “next” day.
