Karla’s Story

My brain injury was caused by a TIA that I had back in November of 2013 when I got yelled at by a co-worker at work about the way I was changing a diaper. I was going to cause them to get written up by licensing when they came in for their visit. If anyone does not know a TIA is a mini stroke.

I see myself as someone making the most of an unexpected turn in my life. My husband is my right-hand man who always gives me love and support, and my therapy cat helps me stay calm when I’m anxious. I make the most of my life and continue to be happy.
